Design

Once all decisions on material selection, deck configuration and features have been decided Deck Works Construction Inc. will finalize the deck plan, and elevations, if required, with general construction notes, materials selected, number of stair and foundation locations.

This drawing will be used to estimate the final contract cost for the client review and sign off and will form part of the contract with Deck Works Construction Inc.

Permits

Once the contract has been signed, Deck Works Construction Inc. will supplement the client approved drawing with additional details and construction information as necessary for a development and or building permit application.

Permit approval can take 2 – 10 weeks, dependent on the municipality, and Deck Works Construction Inc. has no control over this process.

Construction start/completion

When permits are received by Deck Works Construction Inc., the client will immediately be contacted to arrange construction start and completion dates.

Should permits not be required, construction start and completion dates will be confirmed when the contract is signed.
